Just been to the Royal Hallamshire hospital in Sheffield for my Humira review with the Anti-TNF nurse and found out
that she is doing a sponsored swim for NRAS. She is swimming the equivalent of the English Channel but just at her local swimming pool! This means over 1100 lengths! I forget the exact date she is doing this but think it's the end of December. Can't understand why it's not been publicised on the NRAS site?

Her details are on justgiving.com and can be found by searching for for Pauline Mark if anyone fancies sponsoring her.

Julie x

Wow Julie - that's wonderful. She is a star - maybe now you've flagged this up, NRAS will put something on the site about it.

Yayyy , thats great ,

Tell you what though , i used to Install telephone masts and equipment and worked on top of the Hallamshire , ask her next time if she would consider abseiling from the top of the building , that is one high hospital .hehe ;)

Wish her luck with the swim :) I couldn't have done that even when fit :(

Hi All

We are in touch with Pauline about her swim - fantastic challenge to be taking on and even more fantastic that she is choosing to support NRAS! She has already started the swim, having covered 7.2 miles to date, and is aiming to have finished it by the end of January (Christmas closing of the pool hopefully not holding her up too much!) She has reached her original target of £100, having already raised £125 so has increased her target to £200. A link to her justgiving page was added to the Sponsor our Supporters page on the website over two weeks ago when she first contacted us to let us know that she was undertaking the challenge.

Helly Copeland's justgiving page for her skydive in 2011 is also on the page.

If you would like support either (or both!) of them I am sure they would be very grateful, as would we!

Tracey
